Social media and paid ads might be traffic generators, but they are not long-term customer creators. The bounce rates are high, and the number of pages visited is often very low, in my experience. This is why having a good website framework in place with tools like Yoast are very important. For organic SEO, it is important that all pages and articles on your site are formatted correctly so that search engines can craw and index your content. This includes optimizing your titles, descriptions, keywords and tags is a MUST.

By 2019, content marketing is projected to expand by 116% from $144.81 billion. Yes, billion. Although some people might turn an eye at adding a blog or resource section to their site, we believe that this is a MUST. By increasing the amount of pages on your site (along with your consistent attention to SEO for these pages), resources for your audience, and applying the 80/20 rule, you can significantly increase the interactions with your website.

 

Paid AdWords/Sponsored Conent

Ok, so you have good content, you have updated your SEO, but you just arn’t getting the traffic you want. That’s ok. The third piece to the puzzle should be setting aside a budget for lead generation. This can be achieved through paid keywords, sponsored posts through LinkedIn, or other forms of paid search media. We do not recommend doing this step though until your SEO and content has been cleaned up!
